Most of our pendants and metal elements are silver plated high grade pewter. They are plated with various layers of silver, brass, or copper then hand polish. Our special black finish is a black metallic coating. Finally, all plating is coated with a unique protective layer which protects the life of the plating. BTS, BT, Spin rings, and FACTION pendants are not plated. They are highly polished pewter pieces. Other materials include authentic SWAROVSKI crystals, silver plated brass chain, fine leather hide, PVC, rubber, carbon fiber, New Guinea Rosewood, and resin. In keeping with our reputation, we assure these materials are of the highest standard. Caring for your BICO product.

For our non Silver jewellery, chemicals used in traditional jewellery cleaning methods must not be used when cleaning. BICO recommends gently rinsing you BICO product in warm water and drying with a soft cloth. In general, sensible care will ensure a long life for your BICO product. Exposure to colognes and aftershave, pool products, and excess sweat can affect the coating and plating of your product. Furthermore, pendants and chains should be rinsed and dried if worn in the ocean. Avoid contact with abrasive elements.
